Guests will receive a full refund if canceled 48 hours before the tour starts. You can move the tour indefinitely up to 48 hours before the tour. If the booking is made within 48 hours before the start of the tour, you will not receive a refund. The cancellation policy is not applicable for deposits paid in case of marriage proposals, dinner cruises or other special tours. Guests will receive a full refund in case of cancellation by Romantic Amsterdam Tour due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. If there is another situation that prevents you from being present, please always contact us so that we can find a solution together. • We keep a 1.5-meter distance between the guests and Skipper/Guide.
• We only offer private tours, so there will be no other guests onboard only you and your private group. 
• We do not touch or shake hands with guests.
• We disinfect the boat just before the tour.
• We have face masks available for the guests and the skipper will wear a mask on request. This is in line with the Dutch Government guidelines.
• We ask the guest to sanitize their hands before the tour starts.
• If you have any signs of disease let us know and we try to reschedule or offer a full refund. The skipper/guide will only give tours if he/she is completely healthy and show no signs of the Coronavirus.

All of our group tours are guided in English. For private tours, there is an option for English, Dutch or Spanish on request.

There is a maximum of 12 participants at any one time. At the moment we are only offering private tours.

On our normal tours, we offer to drink; bubbles and water and to nibble we offer cheese and crackers and grapes. For our private tour options, we can provide drinks and snacks on request.

We welcome guests of all ages and walks of life. At the heart of all of our tours is the wish to bring all people together for an uplifting and gentle adventure through Amsterdam’s beautiful canals.

On our lovely boat, we have provisions for all types of weather! We can close up the boat on a rainy day (you can still see through) and we have heated seats and blankets for colder or winter evenings. Our tours are very rarely cancelled due to weather and would be only if the local council closed the canals. We are well prepared to take care of you whatever the season.

Remember to come to the meeting point 10 minutes before your departure time.

You can come by public transport, taxi or foot. If you come with public transport trams 2 and 12 arrive 3 min away from where we leave. If you come by Taxi simply give the address to the driver and he should know where it is. And by foot, we recommend to put in the address in google maps. The canals can be confusing so make sure to prepare well. Look out for a offwhite boat with a green top.

Our tour will now start and end at Keizersgracht 401
The start point is at the parking for bikes next to an office building with the sign “Huis Marseille”.

When you arrive, please keep an eye out for an off-white boat with a cream top.

Yes, if you would like something different to what is on offer, then please bring what you love to drink. We make sure there are glasses for you to use.

A few of our nibbles are gluten-free: grapes and cheese, but if you would like to bring some extra food to enjoy, please be welcome.

Yes, the boat is electric, with solar panels.

Our boat has solar panels and is charged with 100% green energy we do our best to buy locally produced organic food and drinks where we can, to minimise our carbon footprint. We also minimize as much as possible our plastic trash. We are also planting a tree for every review we receive, we do this with our partner Tree sisters.

The tour is 45 or 90 minutes long. Longer is also possible.
